1. Ask about insurance – Health insurance benefits can make orthodontic treatment more affordable for many families! Ask your insurance carrier what they offer and the coverage rules. Sometimes if both parents have coverage plans – you can apply to both, which can substantially reduce out of pocket costs. Additionally, many of our patients use their health spending accounts to help cover the costs. For those without insurance, you may be able to claim treatment under health care expenses on your taxes (a good question for your accountant!)

2. Plan at home, and with your orthodontist! Just like any investment, it takes planning. Saving and planning for the cost in advance can help. At Taunton Orthodontics, we also offer no interest in-house financing solutions along with zero down payment options for some cases.
